Our sponsorship programme supports students to study Islam in Morocco. This year we are hoping to give a couple with a child the opportunity to learn more about their faith. They already have a good standard of preliminary Islamic education and Arabic and will focus on learning the core religious sciences under the supervision of local religious scholars and with oversight from the Rosa Foundation’s trustees.
The need for seeking Islamic knowledge from those who embody its etiquettes (adab) is indispensable in cultivating an Islamic personality and spreading Islam to others. Upon returning to Brazil, the students will communicate and share their knowledge of Islam through teaching, translating, writing and public engagement.
